I have belonged to the library since I was a young child, and always found the library a wonderful place. I have re-joined the local library wherever I have lived and it has served me extremely well throughout my life with my own children, completing a teaching degree in my forties, teaching at primary level, working in adult education in Family Learning and now in my retirement I have run a book club for nearly ten years and my relationship with my local library has been very enjoyable and extremely helpful. Throughout all my teaching years I have arranged many library visits with children and adults and requested the library join me in my classroom. On every occasion the library has served me extremely well.
Our local library is essential to every community and must never disappear.
