Reading Challenges

Stretch your mind this summer! Join one of our summer reading challenges, available for readers of all ages.

Kids

Read for at least 30 days between May 30 and July 31. Win prizes for every 10 days you read! Complete all 30 days of reading to be entered into a grand prize drawing for a $500 Virginia 529 plan contribution.

Also explore fun things to do around town to earn raffle tickets for monthly drawings to win a Compass Entertainment Complex gift card.

Teens & Adults

Pick up a scratch-off ticket at the Library's front desk and discover genre "destinations."  Read a book from one of those genres to get your ticket "punched." Complete 4 tickets and return them to the library to get a prize!
