Spooky Storytelling Workshop

Posted by Dana on

October 2, 2020 @ 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Do you have a frightful tale to tell? The library will be collecting stories on video and sharing them with the community as part of a special spooky storytelling program. Participants will first take part in a virtual Spooky Storytelling Workshop with master storyteller and teaching artist, Sheila Arnold. In this workshop, which will take place via Zoom, Arnold will guide participants through the key elements of a good scary story. Participants will get help and support in preparing and telling their stories.

This workshop is open to everyone age 10 and up. A recording of the workshop will also be available for participants who cannot attend on October 2. If you are interested in participating in the workshop but do not have internet access or teleconferencing equipment, the library can provide accommodations. Contact Dana at (804) 443-4945 or for assistance.

This event is partially supported by funding from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Registration is required. To register, complete the form below.
